Hello,
Our Powerbolt Keyless Entry is not responding properly. Yesterday we tried to enter our home and it just gave us a long beep. The green light was lit up on the inside panel, so I changed the batteries. Then I changed the code, since we haven't done that in nearly 2 years.
It is doing the same thing as yesterday. It won't respond. The light went out, which I thought was a good thing, but now it won't even beep when we touch the keypad, or the reset button.
Has it locked us out?
Unfortunately when our handyman installed the darn thing he didn't leave the box and instructions. We haven't needed them until now.
Is there an online link to the owner's manual?
Thank you so much!
Jacqueline ( a desperate housewife! )

I was able to find some answers on the company website, and I am trying to locate a manual for you. If you email me (you will find my contact information in my signature) I will send one over as soon as I find it.

In the meantime from their website:

Why is my Powerbolt 1000 unit beeping?
To determine why your lock is beeping, please follow these steps:

1. Take out batteries and unplug powerstrip.
2. Let is sit for 1 minute then plug the batteries back in and wait another minute.
3. If it does not beep, the keypad needs to be replaced (17733-1).
4. If the unit beeps, the powerboard needs to be replaced (A17734-3,3 Powerboard 1470 brass finish; A17734-3,26D Powerboard 1470 satin chrome finish; A17734-3,5 Powerboard 1470 antique brass finish).
