Howdy, I am setting up a hardwire IR system for a customer with an older Sony HT Receiver STR-DE635 and it does not respond to the Xantech micro link 286M emitters signals. All the other equipment in the stack is responding fully, even by using a programmed Sony 3100 IR remote.
I am certain of the IR receiver window location.
Could the receiver IR frequency window be outside the 30-100 Khz?
If so, are there any other receivers that I could use?

Hi,

I'm fairly positive this isn't the IR receiver or emitter, but more likely an issue with the IR window on the device, or the Sony device itself. I will be looking into this further and answering this in the Home Theater Section where you also posted this question.
