| Please give me a recommendation for a good electronic internet based security system. I would like to monitor my home while on travel. I would like to see via camera some parts of the house, control lights and environment, receive warnings for low temp, intrusion, water etc. |

Hello,
The Motorola Homesight system is a easy to use home monitoring system over the internet. There are two versions of the system that are available. One plugs into your computers USB port and your computer will send email notifications according to sensor status and camera motion. If you want to view the system from a remote computer you will need to subscribe to their monitoring service.
The other version is their gateway system. This system doesn't require a PC to operate but does require the monitoring service for it to work.
The monitoring service is $24.95 a month.
