This panel has very limited instructions and software designed for Windows 95 so the help file won't open in Windows XP. How do I connect the computer to the control panel? Plug it into the modem?

Yes, you plug the Honeywell panel directly into the modem connection on your computer.

You don't have cables available to connect the Honeywell control panel to my computer. How do I program the freeze and water sensors without the computer? I get error codes when I enter them on the control panel.

To Program:

1. Press ADD Sensor in the Start menu.
2. Press the Remote/Sensor button in the main menu to choose a location.
3. Purposely trigger the sensor to program it. (put the water sensor in water, put the freeze sensor in the freezer.
4. Press Done.
