I just met a client that just build 7K+ SqFt house but didn't know about communicating T-Stats or the beauty of controlling them remotely. Are there any products out there that would interface with HAI's Omni line of controllers in any way? I don't know if there are any wireless T-Stats that could communicate via serial or if I can piggyback on the t-stat wires to do my data path, not unlike what X-10 does with PLC.

The last thing I would want to do is to start cutting into his brand new spanking walls, he hasn't even moved into the house yet.

Thanks,
Mario P.

The first thought when you mentioned existing new walls and an HAI system was the RCS TXB16. X10 controlled, and is perfect for a retrofit.

Take a look and let me know what you think.
