Just purchased Smart Strip 10-Outlet Surge - Lcg4. I am using a macintosh G-4. When I put the mac to sleep - all components shut down but then the mac powers up as does all the peripherals. The instructions called LCG3 & LCG4 Addendum note to "turn the pot counterclockwise until the switched outlets turn off". What is the "pot" and how do you adjust it?

Is the solution to this problem to install the software for the mac called Lights Out?

I am not aware of that Mac software, the pot is a small adjustment knob located close to where the cable enters the top of the strip.
