| Has anyone experienced loss of dimmer control on these sylvania z-wave light modules when a bulb goes bad and you replace the bad bulb. The control units seems to recognize the module.. but from that point onwards you have no dimmer control. |

I called Unical about this and they tell me they've uncovered 2 cases (now 3) of this situation, please contact them directly and they will arrange for a replacement switch to be sent to you directly.
1-800-423-4653 (just hit zero for the operator and let her know you spoke to Ralph from SmartHomeUSA), she's expecting your call |

I now have an RMA number from smarthomeusa. I will ship back to you guys per instructions on the RMA.
Thanks for your response.
Do you know what is actually happening. Its the 2nd time I have had to return devices - total around 7 now out of about 25 or 30 purchased.?. |

| Unical tells me they are investigating this right now, I will be discussing it with them further based on your 7 returned switches. |

| I have had this problem too. But much worse. Id say 85% of my modules go bad. Rather than stop dimming, mine will just burn out and stop working. I had them replaced via warranty for at least 20 modules. Everytime new ones come in, they go bad after a few months. After a while I just got sick of it and bought a different brand to test (blanking on the name of that brand now, but they are a rectangular shape with a rounded off top). One of them went bad as well and I just gave up. Now I miss having the system so much I am going to try the intermatic brand. Here's hoping they last.... |
