| We have an existing security system (with 2 Napco Gemini GEM-RP1Ca2 keypads) and a 2 zone thermostat system (with 2 Honeywell T8112 controllers). What is the easiest/cheapest way for me to gain remote control (via internet and/or telephone -- ideally both) over my system? I am willing to redo the any or all of the keypads, if necessary, although would obviously prefer not to. Apparently there is a Gemini Wizard which should give phone control over the phone system (although according to my security company, only for them to call in -- I want to have direct control over the system). In any event, we have Vonage phone service, and they told us the Wizard wouldn't work with Vonage service. I was hoping to get an IP based service that we could call into or log into, and then use our wireless network in the house to control both the security and thermostat systems. Any thoughts greatly appreciated. |

The Gemini can be controlled with Homeseer, and if you replace your thermostats with communicating thermostats they also can be controlled through Homeseer.
Homeseer is a software home automation platform that you can connect to either on your local network or the internet. Phone service can be added.
