Why do I need to install hal basic before I can install hal dmc and how much is it going to cost me?

The HAL Digital Music Center is a plug-in for the HAL software.

The Hal Software has the voice engine and the HAL-DMC adds voice control to your entire music collection.

You will need either HALbasic, HALdeluxe, or HAL2000 installed on the same computer as the HAL-DMC
