Hi,
I have recently replaced some outside incandescent bulbs with fluorescent lamps. When I did so, the timer I have started losing its settings. Looking at its manual, it appears that the timer requires a minimum load of 40 watts. The flurorescent lamps have a total load of approximately 6 watts.
I've been looking around for timer than does not have this problem. Your "Decor 24 Hour LCD Programmable Timer Switch", cat. no. 6124H, does not list a minimum load requirement. Do you know if it has one?

Also, the current timer does not completely turn off the lamps but apparently feeds a small current through them even when they are "off." This was not noticeable with the old bulbs but causes the fluorescent bulbs to dimly flicker when they should be off.
Does the 6124H have this same behavior?

Hello,
According to Leviton the 6124 timer does not have a minimum load requirement.
This unit is relay based so no voltage will lead when the switch is off. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
