| Hi, first time on the site and this question is directed to the techs. I am in the process of building a lake home and have a couple questions regarding one of your motion detectors, the Leviton Passive Infrared Motion Detector / X10 Transmitter - 6417. As my electrician has just shown up at the site so I am able to install hardwire with no problem. Does this unit offer the ability to activate some type of audible alarm inside the house? If so and I use one unit in the front and one down by the boat house am I able to differentiate the 2 zones by individual audio sounds? Am I correct that in order to activate the other unit it would have to fall within the detection zone? thanks for the help, Jim |

You can't have different chimes set up, but perhaps two different chime receivers. So you can tell which one is going off by which chime goes off.
The PHH02 Chime sounds a lot like a doorbell, and can be plugged in anywhere. Simply set the 6417 to have +1 enabled for notification and it will ring the chime. (if you 6417 is set to A1, set the chime to A2 and you will be set).
