Hi all,
first post here and all that fun stuff, on to the first thing that I am trying to find.
*bit of back story*
Moving into a new condo and want to automate some portions of it if possible. One wall is floor to ceiling glass, the Blinds are vertical and I would like to be able to open/close them either via timer or a button press if I want to watch a movie or whatever.
What I am trying to find is something to control the vertical blinds I have BUT the problem is that they have to be rotated 90 from closed before they can be opened, both the rotation and open/close functions are run from either ball and chain or string not post. I cant seem to find anything that can rotate halfway and then open, is this a special type item or am I going to have to make a homebuilt?
I know I put this in Hardware, as I am only looking for the assembly to do the opening, all of the automation side will be worked out later. |

Hello,
The only drape blinds controllers that we have are from Add-A-Motor. They only have two different models, one for drapes only and another for pull-chain blinds only.

If you have two pull chains, one for rotate and another one for open/close you can use two Add-A-Motors at the same time and control both operations from one butler remote.

We do not have one product that does both operations at once.
Please let me know if you have any questions. |

thanks, I figured that my combination was a rarer occurrence and I would have to improvise to an extent with it.
back to looking for the other portions of my plan. |
