Hello, I’d like to know if your 800DR add-a-motor will be able to lift my semi heavy roller shades. It’s two parts, and my ceiling is 18 feet tall. Top part of the shade is about 8 foot, bottom part of the shade is 6 foot.

Please let me know if you think this system is worth trying to put in. I like the price and seems like it would work ok.

The Add-A-Motor max for open and closing is 15 feet side/top open or 30 feet center open. The other limit is that the max fabric weight is 60 pounds. As long as you are under those specs you should have no problem with the 800DR motor.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
