I am looking for a way to report basement flooding through a Z-Wave controller/monitor. I am looking for either a Z-Wave water detector or else a Z-Wave module that will report a contact closure so that I could connect it to a separate water detector. Does anyone make either a Z-Wave water detector or Z-Wave contact closure reporting module?

Actually, a contact closure reporting module would be excellent for all sorts of monitoring. I found a module that will produce contact closure to operate a device, but I have not found one that will detect and report a contact closure.

I did see a window-open module that detects an open window, and the information said something about it having screw terminals for connection of other devices, but it was not clear whether it would actually report a contact closure across the screw terminals.

It seems very odd how few monitoring and reporting devices there are for Z-Wave.
