[Help in Mich.]

I have a T16a controller that I would like to use on my hvac 2-stage system. The system has a 7-day white Rogers thermostst that states it can change the Temp. settings via phone with add on universal low voltage module and x-10 Telephone Responder.

Do I have all that is needed to make it work? Or do I need to change out my thermostat and replace it with a model TXB16 Communicating Thermostat?

Also this is a 2nd home, over 100 miles away. I set the temp. when I leave to 50 and would not want it to go below that. I have a freeze protection device that will call me if a low temp. problem.

just to make sure, read your instructions on the x-10 equip, and or controller, and the stat is two stage or compatible with the type of equip you have as well. aka, gas elect, duel fuel, elect, ht pump etc; two stage cool and heat?
