| I have a CaddX NetworkX 16 zone home alarm, and it's no longer working, I believe it's the wall plug in power supply that needs to be replaced, does anyone know where I can purchase another one? or the actual name for it, or is it possible I need a new battery? |

Hello,
The standard wall adapter for the Caddx system is the CA-T0001 - 16.5VAC 40VA

Please let me know if you have any questions. |

| Ian thanks for the reply, is there a way I can check the alarm to make sure it's the transformer, or if it's the battery? Or should I just replace the battery being that it has been in there for almost 9 years? |

Without test equipment it is not easy to figure out the strength of a battery other then its voltage.
If this system has been down for a while it would of drained the battery and because of the batteries age it may not hold a new charge as well.
The IM-1270 is the most common battery for security systems and should be a direct replacement if you decide to get it.
