I'm looking for the cheapest option for "true rocker" action on 3-way switch circuits. I'd like to be able to hit up to turn on and down to turn off my lights. I' used the 23883w switch in the past, but this is no longer available and it seems that the new switchlinc switches (2476S) are stupidly expensive (46 dollars).

In looking for cheaper solutions, I've found several switches that aren't "true rocker" meaning you always hit the bottom of the switch to turn on/off... I don't like that.

I also found the ACT switches such as the RS114 - https://www.smarthomeusa.com/ShopByManufacturer/ACT/Item/RS114/ at 33.95

and the RD161 http://www.smarthomeusa.com/ShopByManufacturer/ACT/Item/RD161/ at 23.95 - however this one doesn't seem to reference being a true rocker.

Am I missing another cheaper option? I don't even NEED X10 control... just as long as the switches respond to up = on / down = off (unlike normal 3-way circuits)

also - I'm not seeing "companion" switches like my 23883 had... do you just use multiple items of the same thing for 3-way scenarios?
