Hello, I am looking for a way to use the Motorola XG1000 without the remote monitoring feature. I do not want the cameras, I just want to use the water monitor and door monitor. I want a email or text when there is a leak or a door opens. Is there a way to do this without having to pay a monthly fee? I don't need to log into there servers for this, right?

Unfortunately, due to the way the gateway works, you do have to pay the monthly fee.

I already have this on my home and would probably say that I really satisfied with their security system. It is really worth the amount to pay them.
