I've purchased several TK224 switches and am considering buying more, but I need to use for a couple of 3-way applications. Can someone please send me a diagram of how I can connect them for this purpose? I've checked your 3 and 4-way X-10 troubleshooting documents but they always include a control wire which this switch does not have. I really like the membrane style switches but would like more flexibility.

I also would like to buy these same membrane style switches in a dimmable module. I notice there is a switch like that on your website but it says its been discontinued. Is there any plans to make it available again?

Thanks!

You may be using these transmitters in the wrong application. You might want to use the plwo2-x or something simular in decora style. What are you tring to do?

The TK224 switches are transmitters, there is no need for them to have a slave switch or a 3-way circuit. Since as a transmitter they only transmit an X10 code, you can add as many of these switches as you would like with the same X10 codes programmed to them. Each same X10 coded switch would control the same light circuit.

If you have additional questions please call me.

I notice that you didn't answer my second question. I would also like to know if this comes in a dimmable module or if there are any plans to bring back the previous one.

I have installed many X-10 modules and am very familiar with the setup of these devices. My question is - this module controls a load as well as transmits, does it not? I would like to increase the reliability of my setup by using the already existing traveller wire for the 3-way circuit to control the load directly from both locations. It sounds from your previous reply that this cannot be done. I have approximately 35 X-10 switches in my house now and just wanted the most reliable method I can to control my lighting. I've had problems where lights go on and off seemingly randomly and I've purchased the whole house filters as well as the coupler/repeater.

In response to wirenut's post, I am only interested in the membrane style switches. :)

Thanks for your time.

I have searched high and low and I can't find a dimmable membrane transmitter, nor can I findany hint that they plan to bring back the older discontinued switch.

Sorry.
