| I want to purchase a smart strip but I need more information. I have several components, including a television, a dvd player and a satellite dvr receiver. I want the receiver to stay on and everything else to turn off. How would this work on the smart stirp? Also, my satellite reciever remote now powers on the satellite receiver and the tv at the same time. Will this still work with a smart strip. |

With your setup you can put the TV in the control outlet and the DVD player in the switched outlet. Your satellite DVR must be in the always on outlets to properly schedule and record your programs.
With the Smart Strip you will not need to plug the TV in to the satellite box as everything will plug into the Smart Strip.
Please let me know if you have any questions. |
