Hi
i am purchasing a vacation home that
a. requires some rehabbing and
b will be getting some renters. the home is a 2 hr flight from where we live.

so here is what i need.

essentials:
1. a lock that i can access remotely to let people in or out without giving them a permanent way to get in or out, ie if it is a passcode lock, i need to greate a pass code specifically for them and then destroy this key when no longer needed.
i think u sell a schlage product that accomplishes this
question: schlage link; mi vasa verde; or hrpg1
and given my need
which schlage product
i am not very concerened re forced entry- ease of above use is more important than how secure the lock is

2. whatever the system we choose it should be such that the renter cannot tamper with it.

3. i have an awful record of never ever installing an electronic whatever without some srew up occuring. so phone tech help is essential.

ancilliary needs/ controls

1. security system
2. controlling HVAC
3. pool systems control
4. lighting
5. cameras
6. av setup

in order of decreasing importance

what basic setup do i need pre-exixting
what do i need to purchase
would you recommend a DIY or professional installation

my guess is that immediately i need the lock
the rest can be added later as needed right
